The Dell Latitude 5285 is a 12.3" detachable 2-in-1 made for business travellers who want--or need--both a tablet and a laptop. Its thin, light design won't weigh you down, and it's durable enough to survive the inevitable bumps of the road. The back shell has a magnesium-alloy casing and, overall, the tablet feels very solid. Unsurprising, considering it passed MIL-SPEC 810G standards, the testing used to measure the durability of U.S. military equipment. This means it's built to survive an accidental drop or two.
The Dell Latitude 5285 is a fast business tablet. Powered by a 7th Gen Kaby Lake Intel Core i7-7600U processor running at 2.8Ghz and 16GB DDR4 RAM, allowing you to run multiple programs simultaneously and quickly access frequently used files and programs. When running more demanding programs or tasks, the processor can be boosted to achieve a speed of 3.9 GHz. It's a real workhorse of a tablet.
My favorite feature about the Dell Latitude 5285 tablet is the auto-deploy kickstand, it's a pretty neat.
The tablet weighs 2.7 pounds and only 0.6" thick (with the cover), perfect for travel and easy to carry in one hand.
