One Year Parts & Labor Warranty Yes it is strange to see a warranty that long on something used or refurbished and even stranger to see it coming from a retailer rather than a manufacturer but that is what separates us from the crowd of computer retailers. Service after the sale and our warranty is what this company is all about.

This computer is wonderful. We both called Paul several times telling him what we were looking for. He was incredibly helpful, didn't seem irritated that we called multiple times asking for help and told us which computers would serve our needs. The computer came extremely well packaged, the new monitor, new keyboard and mouse are perfect, the computer worked as soon as Tom set it up, he installed the virus software that we already had for our other computers and the whole system was totally worth the money. This is one of the best purchases we have every made and we are sold on buying refurbished computers from Discount Electronics. We won't ever buy another new computer again- from anyone. Refurbished is the way to go! I gave this computer 5 stars. I would also give Paul and Discount Electronics 5 stars! Thank you Paul and Discount Electronics for your help and your great products.
Excellent company! Will be using again.
The best. I had a couple hiccups, my own, and emails to them and they very promptly anserwed with the quick and correct solution that worked. excellent service help. lw
Love it. Like going back a few years and buying a new computer. Love windows 7 and you can't get it in a new computer today.
I am a satisfied customer with my Dell 780. It was packaged nicely and went right on line with the Windows 7 with the usb wireless that I ordered with it. I kept Windows 7 on it just long enough to update the Bios. I then went to work adding two terabyte hard drives that I had from previous computers. With an updated bios I then installed Debian 9.9 on both drives creating two user accounts on each drive. No Raid for me whereas I wanted to keep my writing and 3D modeling work separate from my vast array of movies. For writing, 3D modeling and watching movies the Dell 780 works fine and Debian brings it to life like Windows could never do. With 16 g for memory it is supported completely by Debian where Windows 7 does not cut it. Any of these old Dell computers is brought back to life with Debian but I especially like the Dell 780 as my second computer. Of course, I do the Steam games on my main computer while the Dell 780 is mainly for watching movies. I am a pleased customer where I did what I planned to do and it all turned out the way I had a vision of it. I thank the professional people at Discount Electronics. My Dell 780 arrived when it was supposed to and it everything worked out nice.
So far it is great alot memory &speed. Would highly recommend to any one.
Overall hardware the wise was in very good condition. Windows 7 start up was fine. Since it is very difficult to get a windows 7 distribution disk it would be nice if one was included or at least a image on hard disk.
did not come with soundcard-installed my soundblaster pro card-incompatible with windows 7 but records basic sound. I'm glad the original H.P pc was still under warranty. the Dell is a little slower, but it's OK.
We finally got it hooked up. You might in the future send more set up information especially for an 80 year old person like myself. Also there was no definitive info on the little chip taped to the invoice and after 4 hours of frustration we finally put it in the computer and after a few tries the computer finally works. We won't be using it much until tax filing season next year.
