My experience DE is mostly positive. The one issue I had was the wifi USB receiver did not work at all. Luckily I had one from my old computer.
I’m very pleased with my purchase. This computer came with a great processor and plenty of upgrade potential. My only issue is with the power supply - it makes a high pitched whine whenever the computer is plugged in. It gets even louder when it’s on and under load, which is almost all of the time given how I’m using it. Still, overall this is a great computer and if it wasn’t for the power supply it would be perfect.
The T3600 appears to be a great workstation. My complaint is that it was not packed well nor marked as fragile. It was badly handled and was received with a hole punched through the box clean through the face plate. The T3600 appeared to work ok and a replacement face was received. It has a year warranty. Other than the above everything is good for now.
The price and low additional cost to upgrade components, etc. were amazing. At that price I expected to pay shipping. Being able to ship the same day it is ordered makes me think Discount Electronics is a well tuned business. I will only purchase from them now. Oh, the product arrived in excellent condition and has worked perfectly out of the box. Thanks DE!
The computer came well wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard box, not the strongest box but only small damage to the shipping box but the computer showed no damage.Once I unwrapped the computer I placed it on my desk to hook up but heard a sound of loose debris rattling around in the computer case. I removed the side cover and was able to shale out a small metal object from the case. I felt this debris could have caused an issue if it became lodged in a place that would of disrupted the circuitry. Happily I was able to remove the debris, connected my computer and everything worked as hoped for and I am very happy so far with the speed and opeartion of my Dell T3600 Precision Workstation. Thank you Discount Electronics, I will continue to purchase my electronics though you guys.
