It worked for me. The unit lacked connectivity for the two disc drives in my machine (i.e., it didn't have two wires that the old unit had), but everything else is working fine.

The power supply was delivered in a reasonable time and properly packaged. I called customer service regarding a question I had about a certain connector. The gentleman who spoke to me was courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my question and I installed the power supply without a problem. Just what I needed to power up my daughter's XPS-420 with 8800GT GPU.
